Three-Day countdown to looking your best

Three Days Before

  • Avoid alcohol. It can cause your face and body to appear puffy.

  • Stay away from salt and carbonated beverages. Salt can cause your body to hold a few extra pounds of water.

  • Drink eight to ten glasses of water to help clean out your system and freshen your skin.

Two Days Before

  • Get a manicure and pedicure

  • Stop using Retin A or any other strong face treatment

  • Drink lots of water

The Day Before

  • Try to exercise, since you won't have a chance tomorrow.

  • Take a long, leisurely bath. Add a few essential oils to your water.

  • Get a good night's sleep

 

Battling Cellulite

  • Add rosemary oil to a loofah mitt. Then scrub the cellulite prone areas. This is a natural diuretic that works well with steam and heat to release your body of excess water ( which is a cellulite contributor).

Rest Easier

  • Add two teaspoons of dried lavender mixed with one teaspoon lavender oil to a filled bath tub. Lavender's relaxing fragrance will put you in the mood for a night of beauty sleep.
